The Model 88 was the first of the home market dominators to feature the Featherbed frame that established a new benchmark for motorcycle handling, lasting almost a quarter of a century. The 88’s frame was a revelation and mainly responsiblefor the 88’s 33lb weight saving over the Model 7 Dominator, the new frame being built by Reynolds Tubes.

This is a matching-numbers ‘wide line featherbed’ in standard road going trim. During 2016 and prior to the previous keeper’s ownership, it has had a complete engine rebuild and many electrical minor components have been renewed.

It has been said that it has been totally reliable and a joy to ride in his ownership
