This is a lovely 1973 MGBGT. The car has been in the same ownership since 1988. The owner enjoying it until the mid 90's when he decided to fully restore it. He sourced a brand new Heritage Bodyshell from BMC and set about a complete restoration utilising his own very accomplished mechanical skills. Using original, nos parts and reconditioned components where needed. The car was professionally painted in the original Old English white and has stood up to the test of time with no rust anywhere where in the car and only a small paint chip below the near side headlamp. The car is exceptionally clean underneath and has been stored in a carpeted garage when not in use. At the time of restoration he also purchased a fully reconditioned Gold Seal Engine with +20 thou pistols and a lightened and balanced flywheel also an unleaded head. Mileage was reset at this time and now only records 28184 miles each and every one them added by himself with a few trips abroad and to many MG owners club meetings of which he was an active member.

The car performs exceptionally well and I must say one of the nicest I have driven with overdrive in 3rd and 4th she keeps up with modern traffic and handles extremely well. Only for sale because due to the gentleman's age and as he puts it, "I want it to be enjoyed and used by someone else'.
