This lovely November 1972 RWA ‘round wheel arch’ chrome bumper Midget was given a major overhaul in 1990 including many new panels and a full respray with much of the work documented in the many invoices on file. A new exchange engine was also fitted in 1989.

Painted in period Blaze Red, it was recently given a set of new Minilite-style wheels, the hood is in excellent condition and a tonneau is also included as is the sturdy roll bar.

Since the overhaul was completed it has covered only 30,000 miles and remains in great condition throughout with an MOT until ?? and 29 past MOTs. As good an example as you will find, this tax-exempt Midget is on offer here at far less than it cost to restore

The Mk III Midget is one of the nicest small sports cars to drive and its 65bhp, well-matched gear ratios and light weight give it a lively performance. The wind-up windows and easy-up hood give it a little of the sophistication the earlier cars are lacking. This one is in tip-top mechanical condition, runs and drives great with a wonderful throaty exhaust and has to be an appealing car for anyone wanting a practical classic that is attractive, fun, and easy to live with. As with any classic car there are couple of bits with room for improvement, the seats have a few splits but still perfectly useable and the odd little blemish to the paint but easily rectifiable or left as is!
